The fact that the data happens to have come from the serial port is entirely irrelevant to how you handle the LCD!


I dont feel he cannot differentiate between serial data and parallel data , do you think he cannot?. Had that been a case he wouldnt have mentioned "TX/RX" , then why the fuss all about.
