#150511 - Driving a stepper is easy - and fun Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Why use a dedicated IC ?
Ok. It propably has the output drive circuit, logic level conversions and can do the idle current thingy. But it is not fun and certainly not too educational. I would do my first and as well the fifth project without those just to learn how this works. |
