#151075 - Circumvention
Responding to: ???'s previous message

NO SECURITY CIRCUMVENTION MESSAGES WITHOUT PERMISSION. Do not post messages asking for help in breaking the security of a microcontroller.

Why specifically only the security of a microcontroller?

One of the recently deleted "security circumvention" threads was about "cracking" the licence security of commercial pc-based tools.
Surely such threads should be treated exactly the same?

You're probably right, but that was unusual and is simply deleted on the basis of it being patently illegal. However, I've expanded the legality rule accordingly:
  1. LEGALITY. Messages may only contain information that may be legally shared with
the public. Messages requesting information that cannot be legally shared or which indicate
    illegal intent will be deleted.
