Here is a complete board working with LadderWORK

However, i designed many little boards with LW. I don't download directly my board from LW's IDE but using an ISP method. By the way, talking with MicroSHADOW R. they said to me about the possibility to have the low level drivers for a complete customization of the download procedure.

For the moment ... you just need a 8051 and a tool to download it into your chip. A second possibility is to design a board with an ISP feature compatible with ATMEL Flip programmer for example

If you have a 8051 i suppose you also have a tool or a method to
burn your code into the rom/flash ... right?

LadderWORK generates Intel-Sted HEX file which are readable by any
programmer or download tools.
