How does the bit position correspond to the mode? That is not what I'm gettin.
Like a standard 8051 is 0x00 for PX to be an output 0xFF for PX to be an input from your example a 0x03 is one thing and 0x05 is another....what is the relationship? Are the two least significants 00,01,10,11 the mode using 0-3? What do the two MSD's relationship......that is why I'm lost.....looking at the app notes now to see if I can gather anything up. |
