#151898 - Any *simple* 8051-compatibles?
Does anyone know of a low pin-count, minimum feature, bare-bones 8051-compatible chip that's currently in production? Even something similar to the obsolete Philips 87C750 series would do. I'm sure a cheap PIC would be a better choice, but I don't have time to learn a new chip, and don't want to have to buy a new programmer, etc.

Thanks for any help.
