#15271 - RE: Emulator adventure |
Maurizio,
I have a Microtek "Easy Pak" 6502 (yours is probably very similar to this)& had similar problems to you. Occasionaly it latches up & draws heavy currents from the target (some sort of bus contention)- so every time I use it I hold my breath. It has driven me crazy sometimes with its erratic behaviour. The worst problem is an output that is supposed to pulse low for approx 30mS when the trace trigger conditions are met. This output is very handy sometimes because you can use it to trigger a CRO etc. But it is very unreliable. Usually, I have to replace a 100pin Lattice PLD, program it..and then this output works for a while. I've no idea what causes it to fail, except I know it's not me that does it. This emulator has been very useful..when it works, but I have lost a lot of hair since I got it. good luck with yours regards, Allan Coyne |
