#154210 - HOW MUCH IS DATA? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Dear Pedro,
very first question that arises is... How much is data PC sends? How much of it is to be saved in memory? How often data comes? At what baud the data is transferred? instead of storing data in microcontroller itself one can considor about othe options also... 1) parallel battery back RAM, 2) FRAM, 3) serial EEPROM, 4) if necessay to use microcontroller only then a) try 1 with onchip EEPROM or b) program those blocks that are after your code |
