the problem was the 8052, for some reason it wasnt addressing memory higher than 127 by indirect addressing
full 'name' of the chip, please I doubt very much it was a 8052. I know of no 8052 with less than 256 bytes of RAM. There are a few derivatives with 64 bytes of RAM a few more (including the original 8051) with 128 bytes only, but today most, but not all, regardless if a '51 or '52 name have 256 bytes. Erik |
