This part [u]appears[/u] to be completely obsolete. I found convincing evidence that the part number was at one time valid and there [u]may[/u] be some actual physical parts available if one is able to wade through 100's of different Asian web sites.

[b]What I did was:[/b]
I searched with Google and looked through about 830 hits on the STCmicro part number. I noticed a number of things that led me to conclude that STCmicro may not be a viable company. I even found some evidence to hint that they may have been absorbed into Sanyo Semiconductor at one point in time. A rigorous search attempt at the Sanyo site led to no crosses to the STC part number.

[b]What I did not do:[/b]
I did not put in more than about one hour in a search for STC89C52RC. I invested that time not so much for the original poster but instead for my own curiosity because I'd never heard of STCmicro before. I did not declare finality and death to dust on the company and the part number.

[b]But My Real Conclusion:[/b]
In today's information age, if it takes more than a trivial amount of effort to find company's web site upon which I can find up to date and current information and archives of past information then I'll conclude that this is not a business to engage with for product supply and sourcing.
