#156472 - that is not a shortcut Responding to: ???'s previous message |
You have to enrich your library of Assembly Code
Using a "library of Assembly Code" as a shortcut is asking for failure!!! "The longest route between two points is a shortcut you do not know" (source unknown) If anything is wrong in your "library of Assembly Code" you are absolutotally lost. There may in your "library of Assembly Code" be an assumption that you are not aware of and when you miss it, again you are lost. N0, I am not suggesting "reinventing the wheel" but having a "library of Assembly Code" as a shortcut is asking for failure. My rule for "reference code" is if I can not code the thing myself, I will NOT use "reference code". "Reference code" can, on occasion, be helpful once you have coded the thing yourself (i.e. understood the issue) to see what you missed. or what you did not do the most effecient way, but using it as a shortcut is asking for failure. Erik PS re "to see what you missed" I have more often seen what the "reference code" missed thansee what I have missed. |
