For motor control I prefer to use opto coupler to isolate driver chip from microcontroller because there is a good chance that the motor driver would get short circuited and a high voltage would destroy your microcontroller.
Otherwise a use of buffer is used so that in case of emergency the buffer will be blown and you save the microcontroller. Mahmood |
