there is a good chance that the motor driver would get short circuited and a high voltage would destroy .... Otherwise a use of buffer is used so that in case of emergency the buffer will be blown and you save the microcontroller.
this MAY be relevant; however, I can not recall a case where after such an incident it was possible/practical to repair the boad. Typically you have a series of 'melted' traces. A better approach is to hace a spare board. Erik |
