1) Is the oscillator working?
2) As suggested in an earlier reply, try a simple program to confirm that the chip is all right, preferably on a fresh chip (without downloading the bootloader) 3) Are you using DTR/RST to put the V51RD2 in programming mode (To control RST & PSEN)? If yes, then confirm the settings in flashmagic. 4) Try to find out specific differences in both the chips with the help of datasheets. goodluck! |
