By his own admission, the post was not correct - so the vote just marks it as such, in case someone should read it out-of-context (eg, as a result of a search) and be misled by it.

It's a straightforward, factual comment on the post - not a personal comment on Lynn or his character.

We all make mistakes! Unfortunately, one can't mark one's own posts as wrong, and there's a time-limit on making corrections.
For that reason, I have asked in the past for people to mark a post of mine as wrong when I've realised that it was so.
