#157287 - it\'s easy - do not use them Responding to: ???'s previous message |
it's easy - do not use them
I only use the good old max 8 and in each subdirectory there is a dummy (empty, not used except for ID) file ZDID.... (loooong name) that describes what is there so, if I can not find somathing I just search for the ZDID filenames. There are just too many gotchas using the various tools e.g. Keil can not handle spaces, ... cn not handle deep directories, ... can not handle long names .... I have just been burnt too often and "no long names" is a whole lot easier to remember thajn "in this case I can't use ... in that case ..." Erik |
