#157316 - Explanation Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi please see the following
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314106 http://pages.prodigy.net/daleharris/xperrors.htm http://www.tech-pro.net/howto_017.html From this article, my conclusion is ASM51 can not run properly in my laptop due to Service Pack 2 have change AUTOEXEC.NT and CONFIG.NT in Windows System directory. I fix thi problem by this method: Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder C:\Windows\Repair, select autoexec.nt and config.nt, then right-click and select Copy. Now go to C:\Windows\System32, right-click some empty space in the folder window and select Paste. This will overwrite the current versions of these files with backup copies. |
