Well, you must set it to logic high!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't you read the datasheet of this micro? Read chapter 4.3 on configuring Port 1 pins as inputs.

Why a pull-up?? The LM358 contains a push-pull output stage and does not need a pull-up. But even if so, P1.2 already provides an internal pull-up.
