#158001 - can't start 8052s |
Dear all,
I've built basic 8052 system on my bareboard; pin 40 5v dc 0.5A pin 31 5v dc 0.5A pin 20 gnd pin 19-20 C1 35nF pin 18-20 C2 35nF pin 18-19 crystal 12.000mhz I built a AEC ISP "cable" with 74HCT08 AND gate next to 8052s; (reset) db25 pin 6 - 74HCT08 pin 1,2 (mosi) db25 pin 7 - 74HCT08 pin 4,5 (clock) db25 pin 8 - 74HCT08 pin 9,10 (miso) db25 pin 10 - 74HCT08 pin 11 (GND) 74HCT08 pin 7 (vcc) 74HCT08 pin 14 (mosi) 8052 pin 6 - 74HCT08 pin 6 (miso) 8052 pin 7 - 74HCT08 pin 13,14 (clock) 8052 pin 8 - 74HCT08 pin 8 (reset) 8052 pin 9 - 74HCT08 pin 3 I'm trying to download my hex file using ISP programmer by Adam Dybkowski and have no luck what so ever... I've rechecked my ISP layout like 10 times using multimeter to make sure all connections are as they should and all looks good. I'm suspecting that there could be a problem with my crystal. How would you trouble shoot this? Any ideas appreciated! Cheers Tomas |
