Hi,
Thanks for your message, I would have replaced the crystal if I had one. Shop I bought crystal originally from is right on the other side of the city. I was thinking if I could rule out any other possible faults before I get the new crystal... I have development board based on the same 8052s and I've checked resistance between pins 18 and 19, it's 1.9M ohm, resistance on my built system with or without crystal on pins 18 and 19 is 350K ohm. Is it possible to tell if crystal if faulty with multimeter? Can I connect crystal pins 18,19 on working board with pins 18,19 on my built board? |
