A possible method is to just use series resistors on the signals, and make sure that the ISP interface is strong enough to win any contention. ... Per RESET signal will be driven high by the ISP software (such as AT89ISP from Atmel), while MAX708 MR input is active low. Hence the RESET signal should be connected directly to the RST pin of the micro. Isn't it? I would use jumpers to fully isolate these signals during ISP-programming. Kai... Yes jumpers will always provide the best solution. I will go for a DIP switch so that the signals are fully isolated. This will ensure the board works in all conditions (provided user takes care to put the switches in appropriate positions) rather than the series resistors. Thanks .. |
