#160240 - AT89S8252, change in serial programing
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Is there anyone have sample code of serial programming of AT89S8253?

Can I still use PC programmer that used to serial program to EEPROM of AT89S8252 to program the same for AT89S8253?

I realise that AT89S8253 is different than AT89S8252/S53 in serial programing, which is mentioned in:

AT89S8253 primer, look for "4 byte" and "negative":

...For serial programming, the AT89S8252/S53 uses a 3-byte serial protocol, while the
AT89S8253 uses a 4-byte protocol. In addition, serial input on MOSI is sampled by SCK during
its negative transition edge.

And the table 24.1 in AT89S8253's datasheet, page 39 "Write Data memory (Byte mode/Page mode)".
