It sounds like you set CFG841.7 or CFG842.7 in the standard SFR's and the stack is extended into XRAM and stack operations work automatically at this address.
You will have to recheck the data sheet to see if all assembler stack commands can operate in XRAM once CFG841.7 or CFG842.7 have been set. ***** Warning some compliers and code may think the SP is located in the standard area and try to manipulate the wong SP area **** Joe |
