In Options->Advanced->Communications there is a Halfduplex tickbox, which is by default off.
However, the "direction" pin of the '485 transceiver on the mcu side has to be manipulated somehow - it would be relatively nonsense to resort to "auto-direction" there. Nevertheless, I have already addressed these back then when I started with the 'V'RD2 - have a look at my website. I created that patch specifically as a response to Erik's rant on troubles with P89V51RD2 bootloader and '485, who AFAIK never tried it... ;-) JW |
