Since your inquiry was sparse on information, I'm assuming that you are using Windows operating system on your host computer. Look into USBExpress. It is a utility that comes with the SiLabs USB-to-UART bridge chips. It's an API that will allow you to access the serial data without having to deal with the intricacies of Windows programming.
