Hi again,
Please click on the links in this post to see the bitstream I'm receiving. First, the image here is the ASCII 'U' bitstream. All looks good and it's a nice 01010101 bit stream. Next, here is an ASCII '3' bit stream from my board. Notice I doubled the micro seconds per division on the screen so the bit stream there looks to be 00110011. I'm new to serial comm's (obviously) but I believe the additional 01 between streams is the stop bit for the previous byte and the start bit for the next byte. I may be 180 off in my analysis due to inversion though so that's why I posted the pics for the more experienced to take a look at. What do you think? Thanks for your patience, Brian |
