#16333 - Running code from XDATA RAM |
Hi,
Can anyone help me understand how it is possible to fetch and execute instructions from data memory instead of code memory. I understand that it's possible, just don't see quite how one can do it. The application has code residing on a flash device, but I need to upload and burn new code into the flash 'on-the-fly'. A suggestion was to have 'boot-loading' code running from RAM which takes care of Rx/Flash programming, etc. Bit vague, I know, but has anyone any suggestions? Many thanks! |
