#16403 - RE: CRC16 - Can someone check my results |
I came across this app. notes while started working on a project that needs a small but fast CRC routine.
I talked to my friends and colleges, and tried to search the WWW. But could only find the table driven one or the slow bit shifting one. Until I found that app. notes. It took me a while to understand how it works. The first one to come up with this function is really really clever. I am considering how to make it works with different polynormials, but not sure if there is any copyright/patent issues. I learned a lot here and think it is good to share with others. Anyone interested in doing that for this forum? |
