one thing i learned in the 80's while messing with crc and error-correction codes (we had to use ics to do it back then) was how do defeat a crc check and even a forward/reverse crc block validation algorithm. :)
this was of no practical purpose other than getting hacker code validated as legitimate in the early days of bbs dispersal. of course, my interest was secure radio packet communications protocols. anyone here know the algortihm's weakness? duh |
