#16457 - RE: assembly and games |
I understand that this technology is very old but i still find it amazing that they could fit all those graphics,100's of stages, music, hidden extras in a PROM (doesnt matter how bad it was). I alway's wanted to program games and now that i have a better understanding ( Well more than 20 years ago) on how uP work i thought it may be a good idea to try and write a game in assembly and then using one of the emulators available to play it on the net.
However incorporating graphics/sound with assembly ..... I simply wont even know where to begin. I think for a start il try tetris on a 4x20 LCD using the 8051 :) enjoy |
