#164745 - Look for existing display with identical electric properties Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Your processor will not know what symbols the display is able to show.
I assume that you are talking about a raw LCD panel with custom symbols. Look around for a manufacturer selling such a LCD display - it doesn't matter what symbols it displays, as long as it has similar electric properties (but ok with more or less display segments). Retrieve the application examples for that display. Will you be using a processor with support for driving a raw LCD display? If not, then you will have to surf for example implementations of the requires glue electronics. Buy a display, build the glue electronics and play with that standard LCD until you get your custom display. Switch display, modify your code to handle the specific segments of that display. |
