I am not sure I was wrong, Cory...
I mean you often find x51s and Pics controlling machines and x86 in a micro-computers for data processing, but rarely ever are the roles reversed. It is possible, but obviouly difficult. Of course, the concept of embedded microprocessors does blur the distinction even more, but I stand by my belief that uPs are more optimized toward handling data, and uCs are more optimized for controlling physical processes.
