Yeah, maybe. But, then, if the micro is of the size of 4 resistors (+ the overhead on the PCB), or 8 resistors (note that said micro is available in 2 other packages, not that much bigger ones) - does that REALLY make any difference?
Isn't the battery, charger/supply, the sensor itself, display, keyboard or whatever input device, case (real leather ;-) ), connectors and stuff making up 90% of weight and/or volume? JW |
