#16824 - RE: Reediting posted message |
Rather than having messages editable, which could be confusing, simply click on "Preview" to see how your message looks prior to posting it.
I do plan to make some changes to the forum, including a better counter to keep track of "New" messages. For the time being, I recommend reading messages in one of two ways to keep the "New" flags from disappearing as you start reading messages: 1. From the main forum listing, click on the thread you wish to read. Read the messages in that thread. Then click on "Back" in your browser to get back to the forum listing. The "New" flags will still be in their original state. 2. When opening a thread, use a mouse right-click and choose the option "Open Link in New Window". This will open that thread in a new browser window. You can navigate, read, and post in that thread. Then close the newly opened window when you're done reading the thread. You'll be left with the original forum list in its original state. I personally use option #1. Craig Steiner |
