This is exotic so here are a few wild suggestions and guesses.
I take it that your observation "the oscillator stops working" is based on a scope, if not, please explain. Have you checked what happens with Vcc when you ground the port pins (possibly a misread pull-up resistor or a short). What happens to P3.0 when you short P3.2 to ground. When the oscillator stops working what is the voltage on XTAL1 and XTAL2. What happens to the oscillator when you short P3.0 or P3.2 and do not apply reset. Help us help you guess, Erik |
