Hi Rolf,
there is no problem, if arbitration lost. You must handle it as described in the data book IC21 and in the application notes (multi-master-I2C). Also I suggest to replace the outmoded PCF8582 by the 24Cxx series. Since they need only max 10ms per write cycle and can write up to 128 bytes (e.g 24C512) on using the page mode in only a single write cycle. Peter |
