Does anybody have any experience with Dallas 89C420? I've read the latest errata sheet (Rev A2) and it says there are several key features that don't work (e.g. in-application programming from internal memory). I also read somewhere that the bootstrap loader is not reliable or is limited/not working (apart from the problems with high baud rates)??
I purchased a part months ago but I've not received it yet, and free samples seem not to be available either.
Have you managed to get and use the chip? What revision is being shipped? Any advice?
