I'm still waiting for my DS89C420. It's listed on my order sheet under "QTY B/O" (quantity backordered?). What annoys me is that I now have all the support components (MAX233 linedriver, MAX667 LDO regulator), but no microcontroller!
I wish DalSemi would get their proverbial thumb out. I've been waiting two months for two DS1920 Thermometer iButtons, two DS1921 Thermocron iButton and two DS89C420 FLASH High Speed MCUs. If Dalsemi don't hurry up, I'm going to get an Atmel FLASH MCU, hack together a programmer and use that. Shame really. The 89C420 is a really nice MCU (if the spec sheet is accurate).
