That would be a bad idea. That would keep any misunderstanding communicated from being corrected.

Many threads over the years have contained errors in the answers which have been corrected by later postings.

Also the different time zones and the fact that the one with the most knowledge on the discussed subject might be occupied by his/her gainful employment at the time a question comes up would greatly limit the usefullnes of a chat room.
