#18197 - silviu : i am using spjsystems |
hi silviu,
i am using spjsystems compiler for 8051. In this compiler there is no datatype like xdata. so i used dptr to assign the value of array element. instead of dptr if i use any register it is not accepting. and also i used more than 5ms second for many random times. But u mentioned that only 40us is enough to display. i will try with this.Actually according to my code the first four characters are displaying on first line and the cursor is waiting on second line but it was not displaying the string. If i use a for loop in main itself, instead of calling function then also it displaying all the characters. i was surprised! what's the problem it would be? anyway i want some help regarding with this lcd to interface a 3x4 matrix keyboard. could u have any suggestions! regards rao |
