Hi Steve,
Yes the Polaroid 6500 module is good in being ready to interface but the range is not good as doesn't work beyond 15 Meter (echo). I have been trying hard to get a module or the transducer that gives a distance of 60 Meter (echo) but no success. So much so that Polaroid ppl haven't offered such system. The Mecedez 6000S series has an optional feature under the name "Distronics" that can show a vehicle ahead upto 150 feet. It uses Sonar. I have been trying to get an ultrasonic ransmitter that powerfull :( Simon |
