hi, i am new to this forum

i got a problem with the software uart for atmel 89c52. i am using 2 pins to act as transmit and receive. My aim is to transmit chars from com1 to com2. That is type char "a" in com1 will give me char "a" in com2.
but when ever i transmits char via com1, com2 will give a an offsetted value. eg type a gives A. i tried to offset my value, but it will give me a new offsetted value.. wat could be the prob??

i am using keil micro vision IDE. the baud rate is 9600.
