#18860 - RE: software uart problems in atmel 89c52 |
hi all,
getting it to work for 2400 baud is ok, but my application requires 9600 baud. i am not running any interupts for the software uart, just 2 pins for transmit and receive i am using 11.0592Mhz crystal running at 9600 baud on both terminals. The problem is to syn the bit time for the software uart, i used the formulae to get the 2400 baud to work, but not for the 9600. wat could be the problem? is there a "real" formulae to calculate the bit time? thanks in advance |
