I’ve been using a PIC16F877 as a slave (on a PCB and not what you think!), because it has a Parallel Slave Port (8 bits with ~CS, ~WR, ~RD). Is there maybe such a derivative available in the 8051 family? The PIC developing tools, MPLAB, is kinda primitive (no syntax highlighting, etc etc). |
