In that case, why not consider the Raisonance AKIT-ST6 - which gives you (it says <a href="http://www.raisonance.com/buy/price...lt;/a>) a <b>free</b> and <b>unlimited</b> IDE, Assembler, Linker and Simulator for the ST6 microcontroller family.

The AKIT-ST6 does indeed include the parts listed. However, the ST6 is a very small processor when it comes to code space. But the educational purposes it would do fine.

Also, yes the Raisonance Eval for the 8051/MX and XA all include the simulator and IDE. Essentially it is a complete kit for nothing. It loads at 0000H and you can indeed use it for very small projects such as LPC and 751 based applications. Or even full 8051 applications thathave less than 4KB of code required. I've lost a lot of ales because of that. :-)
