This is overtone. That's right. I understood Erik, FUNDAMENTAL as the frequency of the quartz (not a base frequnecy)., but this was my misunderstanding.


I still wonder how many and how expensive are those quartz modules that could work at freq. 33MHz on fundamental (base) frequency). I still believe that what we buy (less expensive parts) are working on third overtone and not on fundamental frequency. That's what I dug in catalogues of comapnies maufacturing quartz oscillators sold by Pioneer Standard.


I do not deny that you might use those better once but are you seriuous that they are so popular?
