its not a fault, the ALE signal MUST oscillate with 1/6 of the crystal frequency anytime ! Only during any second MOVX cycle a single period was suppressed. To follow the MOVX timing with an oscilloscope, try to execute it permanently, e.g. with the following changes: ... Loop: MOVX @DPTR, A JMP Loop Peter |
