Why don't you use a cheap serial EEPROM device.
Look for atmel / microchip / dallas. They all have simple devices that can be used by a simple serial protocol. You can use I2C, SPI or your own 'pin swapping'. You will find them in many different sizes (kb) ! Bert regards. |
