I'd like to ask an additional set of questions.

1) You indicate the Microcontroller converts data value into ASCII Chars. Since ASCII is a collection 128 symbols are all 128 symbols already used to represent data values? If so what is the rule (i.e. an ASCII space = 0010 0000B) or are the ASCII Symbols token's which encode actions, states, (i.e. bit positional) or index into tabled values?

2) Does the data "stream" with out any message "wrapper" or is there an existing protocol?
