J, I am stuck with this part and am only allowed to use 1. The look-up table is a good idea, i had thought of it but discounted it at first (first version had 16 bit resolution, a bit too ambitious) and i think i have an idea where it could be used.
Steve, where in the code can XCH be used. I have never used the function before but from my understanding of it, it really wouldnt improve the efficiency of my code.
